The Programs & Development Intern will participate in all aspects of PCF’s operations. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in nonprofit work to gain a variety of skills. The intern will assist with fundraising, website development, and upcoming programs and events. Specifically, they may help coordinate our annual regatta fundraisers, research information for our resource website, monitor programs at local high schools, and distribute organizational materials at community events. This is a flexible position within a growing organization that welcomes motivated students to contribute their ideas and pursue their areas of interest. Requirements: excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong attention to detail, internet research experience, ability to multi-task, and an interest in working with youth.

The Public Relations Intern will conduct a variety of promotional work for PCF. They will send press releases, report on PCF’s events, and submit articles to local newspapers. They will also write articles for PCF’s monthly e-newsletter, design the newsletter, and distribute it online. In addition, they will maintain PCF’s updates on social media sites. Requirements: excellent writing and research skills, ability to work independently, and an interest in public education.
